Smooth Transitions® was started in Louisville, Kentucky in 1995 and is now in more than 65 communities nationwide. Debra Demyan is the owner and operator of Smooth Transitions of Greater Charleston.

Debra Demyan joined the Smooth Transitions® family after spending more than 20 years in project management in both the arts and business fields. With this experience, in combination with a masters degree in clinical psychology, she offers not just move management services, but is also able to help address the emotional stress that often complicates the downsizing process for her clients and their families. The personal services she provides to seniors and their adult children gives the peace of mind that comes with experience, compassion, and professionalism.
Debra works with you to determine your goals and what type of team you will need. With Debra coordinating all of the moving parts, she will coordinate a network of regional and national service providers (everything from specialty movers to cleaners) to help you meet your goals.
